PUBLIC WORKS WASTE COLLECTIONS - SANITATION MAINTENANCE CDL WORKER

Minimum Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED and some experience in inventory control, warehousing, stockroom or store
operation in an automated environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience handling water and sewer piping, related materials and
appurtenances.
• Possession of North Carolina driver’s license.
• Possession of or ability to obtain forklift certification.

FIREFIGHTER

Minimum Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Possession or the ability to obtain offered North Carolina Firefighter I and II, Emergency Medical
Technician – Twelve months to obtain Hazmat Technician certifications with rank of Senior Firefighter
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record

PART-TIME GROUNDS MAINTENANCE WORKER
